All my four kids attend Aunty’s speech and drama classes. We see tremendous progress in their communication, confidence, and interpersonal skills. My third daughter who was shy has improved a lot and now wins prizes in school for oratory and drama. A dedicated teacher who puts extra effort into preparing students for exams/concerts/drama or any other event. A big thank you for all the support in all these years.

In 2018, I came across a drama advertisement on FB, a stagecraft production. My daughter who showed so much interest in acting and singing jumped at the opportunity. That was our first introduction to this wonderful world of drama, singing and joy. Also this amazing group of teachers not only helped children discover their talents and develop them, but also ensured that they enjoyed what was taught. Here it is not just studying and learning, but actually loving what was taught and it was so much fun for the kids. Since joining the ‘Missing Piece’ and the ‘A to Z’ project, Elisha continued with speech and drama classes, and this year she will be facing her grade 3 Trinity College London exam with Suranjika. Elisha has become a more confident, happy, empathetic little girl. I'm so glad about this encounter which has turned into a beautiful journey. Thank you Suranjika, Rapti & the Stagecraft team. Keep up the good work.

My daughter/ child has trained with stagecraft vocal, under Rapti for 7 years. She has continually benefitted from technique and training, and this is clearly apparent in the steady development of her voice.
Ms. Suranjika conducts her classes in such a professional manner. She uses latest teaching methods to keep the students interested throughout the journey (even through online classes during the pandemic period where physical classes were not allowed). Apart from the subject knowledge she educates children on social phenomenon in the modern world through various activities (solo acts, dramas, handwork, presentations, group discussions and other awareness building exercises) and prepares their mindset in order to face the ever-changing world as a complete, composed human being. The innovative activities coupled with her multidimensional teaching approaches has truly inspired my kid. This is more than a conventional speech & drama/elocution class and I see it as an investment for my kid which can reap so many rewards for him in future.

If you are looking for interesting and fun ways to learn the art of effective communication, self expression and emotional intelligence look no further. With Aunty Sura’s out of the box learning techniques and years of experience you not only understand the theatrical side of speech and drama but also its practical applicability in the real world. She is someone who goes beyond her role as a teacher to understand her student’s capabilities and hidden strengths so that she can guide them to reach their full potential. It is an enjoyable experience to learn under the guidance of someone like Aunty Sura who always looks at new ways of incorporating speech and drama into creative learning experiences.

Rapti and Suranjika are crazy! and I mean this in the nicest way! My 11 year old started with stagecraft, at short holiday workshops and group activities when she was about 6 and loved them so much that she enrolled for the Trinity College Drama classes with Suranjika. It is the only extra curricular activity she makes sure she does not miss and goes the extra mile to complete the homework on– because it’s never really homework, it’s fun! Suranjika’s lessons touch on a wide array of topics, from wildlife conservation to the holocaust, from self love to gender diversity– and this is at a DRAMA class! I’m so happy that she is a teacher who creates a love for the arts among her students and it's lovely to see my daughter blossom as a performer and gain confidence in her abilities. Thank You for the love, Sura and Stagecraft.

Developing a love for all varieties of genres in singing and music came to my child through the teachings at stagecraft vocal. The ‘fun learning’ structure they use leaves the student with a thirst for all things musical!
Over a period of 12 years, our son has trained with Stagecraft vocal. He chose to face many examinations and performances, offered through Stagecraft. His confidence has grown steadily and he has now decided to include singing as part of his tertiary studies.
